Good Herbs for Women

Many herbs can ease tension and help you relax. Below are a few herbs at The Tea Garden that are specifically beneficial to women and may help with menstrual cycle and menopause.

Chaste berry is helpful in alleviating hot flashes and dizziness, helps regulate menstrual cycles, reduces water retention and bloating, eliminates headaches and depression, and can redirect hysteria into focused action and emotional calm.

Chamomile can help you to sleep. Chamomile is a common ingredient in many herbal blends. It also eases digestive discomfort, calms anxiety, and relieves mild insomnia. Chamomile is an herb in our Stressless Herbal Tea.

Valerian Root is a smelly yet helpful herb. It can help you to sleep, and is also good for fighting mood swings and menstrual cramps.

Peppermint herbal tea is used to reduce cramps, headaches, indigestion and nausea. Peppermint is an herb in our Stressless Herbal Tea.

Dandelion Root helps alleviate water retention. It’s diuretic and liver stimulant. Contains a detoxifier that cleans out various bodily poisons associated with constipation, joint inflammation, acne, fluid retention and urinary disorder. Also aids in fat digestion. DO NOT USE if you have gall bladder disease.

Anise is good in aiding digestion and helping alleviate stomach discomfort.
